In April 2020 during Canada’s National Poetry Month I began speaking with poets – mostly Canadian – to spread the word (pun intended) about their poetry, their likes, their processes, and their poems.
Turnstone Press contacted me and asked if I speak, um, schmooze with some of their poets who were launching books. Why, of course, I said.
I had had a few adventures with Zoom and poetry – then I had some more – not speaking of the time Joanna Lilley and I talked for 20 minutes and I forgot to turn on “Record.”
So, it’s October 2020. I turn once again to Zoom and poets and poetry with the assistance of Turnstone’s Editor, Sharon, and present Sarah Klassen and Tree of Life, which will be launched tomorrow in Winnipeg.
